Description:
We are looking for a number of Support Workers to work ongoing shifts at a School with Residential Accommodations for Young People with Autism and associated complex needs.
* You must be a driver as it is not located close to public transport. This will be mainly day shifts (Mon-Sun), working around 40 hours per week on a 4-week advanced rota basis.
* During term time, shifts are 3-9pm Mon-Fri, whilst shifts are 7-3pm and 3-9pm (or long days) at Weekends and outside term time.
* You will support young people with autism and complex needs, helping them to grow and develop life skills during the time outside their main school day.
* You will be working in the supported living accommodation, with facilities such as an adventure playground and swimming pool.
* The work will sometimes be challenging and personal care will definitely be a requirement.
- You must be experienced in supporting young people, able to assert boundaries, and provide safe and effective physical intervention.
